The emergence of the month of October brings with it breast cancer awareness month and in that light National Technology Enterprises Company (NTEC) held a ?Think Pink? breast cancer awareness seminar for its female employees across all its subsidiaries on Wednesday, 10th October 2018.
The seminar was held in co-operation with Cancer Aware Nation (CAN) who had provided a speaker to educate female staff on the health impact of breast cancer and the importance of taking personal responsibility for their health.
Attendees to the awareness seminar learnt vital information such as the risk factors of developing breast cancer, life style changes they can apply, different detection methods and the importance of conducting a mammogram.
